in the Sammamish/Issaquah/Kirkland communities via Little Free Lib. Please take your own book to exchange for another book.
You can read and even take books back home when your kid visits the doctor in Allegro Pediatrics!
Isn't that cool?

The goal is to build cross-cultural relationships and strengthen our communities to foster unity and camaraderie through the celebration of art and culture in downtown Issaquah. This year, we celebrate with various cultural art forms. We events on 5 or 6 days during this time, and we have programs representing the countries of India, Mexico, and the Muslim culture. We also highlight China by celebrating its wonderful art forms on Tuesday, September 18 from 6-8 p.m. We have a drop-in event showcasing a variety of Chinese arts, such as calligraphy, painting, paper cutting, ceramics, or textiles. We have tables displaying cultural artifacts, such as scrolls, vases, painting, clothing, tea, etc.

"I wanted to thank you for making the event such a wonderful success!  I think that everyone had a great time and appreciated all the wonderful aspects of Chinese culture that were represented. It was such a pleasure working with your teachers. The paper cutting and knot-making activities were such a hit!"
Karla Anderson, Reference Librarian, Issaquah Library

"The Chinese knot and jewelry making table was a big hit for our Chinese seniors! Thank you so much for providing such a fun activity!"
